The Peterson Talon Set is a small, high quality set designed for normal daily use that fits in your shirt pocket. This is a Govenment Steel set; which means it is forgiving of harsh treatment. Our Government Steel picks are a lot tougher than most others on the market. Does it cost a little more? Sure - but this steel will save you money by outlasting most other picks.
The Talon Lock Pick Set includes the following five Government Steel picks:
- DR-GSP - Double Rake
- BG-1 - GSP Bogie series 1 in 0.025
- BG-2-18 GSP - Bogie series 2 in 0.018
- HD-GSP - Hooked Diamond
- H1-GSP - Hook 1
In addition to the five Government Steel picks listed above we provide a selection of six high quality Government Steel turning tools that the user can adjust to their personal needs.
While you can single pick with this set, it has a strong focus on raking. This Talon lock pick set comes in our padded nylon logo case.

Excellent picks

These picks are quite strong and the choices in this set work on a lot of basic locks. Plus you get torque wrenches galore. There so many to choose from, providing just enough pressure for a variety of locks. Set does double up on one design and I dunno if the purple handle is different from the black but all in all excellent picks.

I ordered this set after watching many YouTube videos I came to the conclusion of which picks were needed and which were not.
The pick patterns all work great but even more important is how sturdy the Peterson picks are. Everything is top notch quality.
The only 2 things I ordered since getting these picks is a Peterson top tension rod and a Peterson mini knife tool to open older master 4 code combo locks.
If you want a starter kit or a travel kit that will last, this is what you need

I own several lock pick sets. Southord's Max set, Sparrows Monstrum XXL, and now, this is my first Peterson set.
I must say this is one of the finest sets I've used. Great feedback on the picks and the handles are superb. The major picks are included for raking and single picking. The case is compact, and the set has a good assortment of tension wrenches. If you need a lock pick set to carry daily, I highly recommend this set.
