Advanced Sargent LA Practice Cylinder

Our line of advanced practice locks are designed from original manufacturer commercial cylinders to give students a more challenging lock picking experience. The Sargent LA 6 Pinned Practice Cylinder is one of the locks in this special line. It features standard top pins (a spool pin version will be available soon) and tighter tolerances to give advanced lock pickers an opportunity to further hone their skills. Note that this practice lock is not available as a cutaway cylinder.

When beginning one's training in locksmith skills, a student should not attempt to pick a lock this complicated. Start with a 2 or 3 pin practice cylinder lock and become proficient with that before moving up to a 5 or 6 pin practice lock.

Important: These Sargent cylinders are designed to fit the Deluxe Adjustable TriPik and properly equipped Lock Pick Stations. They cannot be used with standard models of these practice stands.
