At 0.015 it is only 60% of the thickness of your standard picking tools, and less than 75% of the thickness of other 0.022 "thin" tools. Because of it's slenderness this precision pick allows easier access for picking of locks with narrow keyways, or those keyways approaching the Para centric design. And the GEM tip allows a greater pin access.
